Someone asked recently if we would be doing workshops on anxiety for teens.  It was a great question, especially given the world we live in today, and how it affects our impressionable youth population.

Anxiety can lead to a host of problems from sleep disturbances, social changes, poor school performance and physical health issues, among others.  Learning how to handle anxiety early will, of course, lead to better outcomes for the future.

Our anxiety / stress management classes are not therapy groups.  They are a time to discuss how anxiety affects our lives and practice some techniques for managing our feelings, while getting support from others who are coping with similar feelings.

There is a $15.00 fee per class to cover the cost of materials and help support The Grief Warrior Project. Payment is expected at the time of the class via cash, check or PayPal.

In memory of my beloved husband John Kelly Snyder… 20 Sept 1956 – 21 Oct 2016.

My Johnny was a true warrior, fighting demons no one else could see.  I thought he was the strongest man in the world, and perhaps he was, but tragically, the demons got the better of him.

The name of this project is in no way intended to be reflective of, or piggy back off, Wounded Warriors which serves those military personnel wounded after September 11, 20o1.  Like too many others, John was a warrior long before then.
