Managing Anxiety / Stress Classes (Adults) – Beginning October 04, 2018

According to the Anxiety & Depression Association of America, anxiety disorders affect 40 million adults in the United States age 18 and older, or 18.1% of the population every year.

Anxiety can contribute to a multitude of physical and emotional problems.  You can’t just ignore it, because it will leak out somewhere.

Our anxiety / stress management classes are not therapy groups.  They are a time to discuss how anxiety affects our lives and practice some techniques for managing our feelings, while getting support from others who are coping with similar feelings.

Because men and women react differently to anxiety & stress, and tend to prefer different coping mechanisms, there will be on-going classes every Thursday for women from 5:15-6:45 pm and for men from 7:00-8:30 pm.

There is a $15.00 fee per class to cover the cost of materials and help support The Grief Warrior Project. Payment is expected at the time of the class via cash, check or PayPal.

In memory of my beloved husband John Kelly Snyder… 20 Sept 1956 – 21 Oct 2016.

My Johnny was a true warrior, fighting demons no one else could see.  I thought he was the strongest man in the world, and perhaps he was, but tragically, the demons got the better of him.

The name of this project is in no way intended to be reflective of, or piggy back off, Wounded Warriors which serves those military personnel wounded after September 11, 20o1.  Like too many others, John was a warrior long before then.

Fair winds and following seas, Husband.
